"Preorder was fine, but I had to do the chasing"
My preorder went well overall, and it did show up like it was supposed to. The wait wasn’t a huge surprise since it was a special order, but I did feel like I had to put in more effort than I wanted just to stay updated. When I reached out, they answered and were easy enough to deal with, so that part was fine. I just wish they sent more updates on their own instead of making me ask. In the end, the order came through and everything was okay.

"Packed really well"
The box showed up solid and everything inside was safe, so that part was great. i was expecting some kind of apology after worrying it might arrive damaged, but thankfully there wasn’t anything to complain about.

The quality was fine and it did feel authentic, but it wasn’t anything super special. I wasn’t disappointed, but I also wasn’t blown away or anything. It’s OKAY for what it is

"A Name That Literally Keeps Coming Up"
I’ve literally seen Mile High mentioned over and over in precision shooting groups. People seem to trust them when it comes to serious gear and honest answers, that says a lot to me

They got my scope mounted just fine, so no complaints there! The only thing is the setup took a bit longer than I was expecting. Overall, it was okay 🙂

My firearm transfer went through without any real issues, but the paperwork and compliance checks took longer than I thought they would. The staff did answer my questions, they just werent the quickest with updates. Overall it was ok, just a bit slower than I expected.

To be fair, maybe my custom build was just a more complicated job than expected, but the whole process ended up being more hassle than it felt worth. I was hoping for a smoother gunsmithing experience and just didn’t really come away satisfied.

"Good first order, just a little slow to get going"
I was kind of in a hurry when I placed my order on Mile High Shooting, so I was really hoping everything would be straightforward. Thankfully, it all showed up just like it was listed, with no missing items or random substitutions, which I was a little nervous about since it was my first time ordering from them. Fulfillment was smooth overall, though it did take a bit longer than I wanted before the order actually started moving. Once it shipped, it got here fine and was packed decently. I’d order from them again.

"Support was okay, but the timing got a little confusing"
I ordered a few parts and the checkout part was totally fine. I got the shipping email quickly too, or at least I think I did, the timing is a bit fuzzy because the delivery notice and the tracking updates didn’t line up the way I expected.
After the order showed up, I had a small question and reached out to support. They did get back to me, but not right away, and after a few days I wasn’t sure if I had messaged too early, too late, or if my first note just got missed. I sent a follow-up and then got a helpful reply. The person was nice, it just felt slower than it should have.
In the end, everything worked out and it wasn’t a bad experience. I just wish the after-sale communication had been a little clearer and quicker, especially since I was already mixed up on the timing. 3 stars from me.

I reached out expecting to wait a while, but they got back to me really fast and sorted out my issue without making it complicated. I was literally sitting there with my coffee getting cold, and before I knew it, everything was fixed. Painless experience overall

"Shipping Was Way Too Slow"
I got annoyed with how long the shipping took. I don’t have the patience to keep checking for updates, especially when the tracking wasn’t reliable anyway. It felt like I was just left guessing the whole time

The prices were kind of hit or miss for me. A few things seemed totally fair, but then some other items were more expensive than I expected once I looked around a bit.
I still ended up ordering because they had what I needed, so I’ll give them credit for that. But after shipping and the final total, the deal didn’t feel as good as it first looked, that part was weird.
Overall, it’s not a bad place to shop, but I wouldn’t assume it’s always the best value. Next time I’d probably compare prices first before buying again.

"Checkout was fine, just missing a payment option I like"
Payment went through without any issues and it felt secure enough, so no real complaints there. I just kind of expected PayPal to be an option, and when it wasn’t, I had that little moment of, “Oh, okay, now what?” Not a huge deal, but it made the choices feel a bit limited...

The staff was really professional and friendly the whole time. They answered all my questions without making me feel silly, and they kept everything easy to understand. Overall it was a good experience, and I’d use them again. That said, I’m still hoping they offer some kind of compensation or credit for the time and effort on my end
"Backorder updates were easy to follow"
I ordered an item that was on backorder, i appreciated how clear the updates were the whole time. It did take a little while to arrive, but I never felt left in the dark or had to wonder what was going on. A bit of a wait isn’t a big deal to me if the communication is solid, and in this case it was.

"Pretty solid selection and easy to order"
I was looking for a few shooting-related items and Mile High Shooting seemed to have a lot more options than most of the other places I checked. What I really liked was that the items showed as in stock and, as far as I could tell, they actually were, no surprise backorder or anything like that. The site was easy to get around, and I found what I needed in maybe a few minutes. I’d definitely shop there again...
"Return took a bit longer than I expected"
I had to exchange something from Mile High Shooting, and it was mostly fine, but a little confusing?? The instructions were available, but I still ended up emailing them just to make sure I wasn’t messing anything up.
They did eventually get everything taken care of, and my replacement showed up in good shape. It just took longer than I was hoping, so I’d say it was okay overall, not terrible but not exactly smooth either.

"Really helpful staff who know their stuff"
I stopped in with a bunch of questions about my rifle setup, it just felt like the staff actually took the time to listen instead of rushing me through it.
They clearly knew the technical side really well, but they explained things in a way that made sense and didn’t make me feel dumb for asking. They helped me figure out what would actually fit my needs and what stuff I just didn’t really need to spend money on.
Overall, it was just an easy, helpful experience. I left feeling a lot more confident and way less confused than I usually do after trying to sort through gear online

"Warranty Help Took Way Too Long"
The warranty support kinda dragged on, and the replies were slow. Even after waiting, the issue still wasn’t fixed right, so I’m still dealing with it.
